ABOUT US
For 10 years we pursued our careers in Allentown, PA and New York City. Though these cities provided professional opportunities and excitement, we longed to return to friend and family living in Erie County. In June 2004, we were thrilled to learn that North East High School was searching for an experienced guidance counselor. Eight weeks later, our house was sold, we packed up our German Shepherd, Maggie, in the car and headed west!
Wanting to run a business and secretly admiring the chocolate and atmosphere at Cocoa Tree Chocolates, we could hardly contain our enthusiasm when the opportunity to buy the shop presented itself. Here was a chance for us to expand on a personal hobby and love - cooking! We love to work together in the kitchen, and could now share the end result with the public. Though fearing the possibility of eating the inventory, we jumped feet first!
After considerable wandering, we are pleased and proud to make North East our permanent home. We plan to continue providing excellent chocolate with the friendly service that customers have come to expect from Cocoa Tree Chocolates.
